Plug in any dynamic, condenser or ribbon mic, add phantom power as needed, and use the gain and pad controls to find the sweet spot.
Send it
Run a lead to your pedals like you normally would with any guitar or bass and start experimenting. Play with the mic gain to creatively drive your pedals or open up headroom you didn't know they had.
Capture your way
Send the pedal audio to your preferred destination (DI, interface, amp) and use the untouched "mic thru" audio for blending wet and dry channels in the mix or live on stage.
