Plug in any dynamic, condenser or ribbon mic, add phantom power as needed, and use the gain and pad controls to find the sweet spot.
Send it
Run a lead to your pedals like you normally would with any guitar or bass and start experimenting. Play with the mic gain to creatively drive your pedals or open up headroom you didn't know they had.
Capture your way
Send the pedal audio to your preferred destination (DI, interface, amp) and use the untouched "mic thru" audio for blending wet and dry channels in the mix or live on stage.

Drops the incoming signal by 20 dB, taming loud sources and hot mics before they reach your effects.
Lifts pin 1 of the XLR input from ground. If you hear hum from a ground loop, try this first.
Flips the polarity. If the effected signal sounds hollow or thin blended with Mic Thru, one press usually fixes it.
Sends +48V phantom power to condenser mics. Leave it off for dynamic and ribbon mics.
