It varies the output impedance the RA-100 presents to your pedals or amp. Different pickup-style impedances change how pedals respond — fuzzes especially come alive or fall flat depending on what's feeding them. The Z control lets you dial in the feel of a humbucker, single-coil, or in-between source.

The RA-100 is stereo throughout. Drum buses, synth pads, doubled guitars, stereo effect returns — all benefit from staying in stereo through the entire reamp chain. The matched pair of transformers preserves your stereo image cleanly.

The RA-10 is mono, passive reamping only — the simplest and most affordable. The RA-20 is stereo reamping with four routing modes. The RA-100 is the flagship: stereo reamping plus integrated return path, so reamp and re-record happen in one closed loop without repatching.
